AESTHETIC CAPITAL
This acrylic mirror etched drawing project consists of tiles decorated with patterns. These patterns form a general image that seems very decorative, an arabesque made up of several circles. When we approach, we can see that the pattern elements have been replaced by corporate logos (McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Gazprom, Monsanto, BP, etc.) This mirror etching offers a back and forth between the whole, with its richly decorated decorative appearance, and the detail, showing elements that are part of the reality of our world, to which is added the reflection of our own image.
