Smoke in the distance
This sculpture is composed of many sheets of acrylic (Plexiglass), some parts of which have been frosted, creating a vertical pattern on each of them. The accumulation of these two-dimensional patterns gives the impression of a volume or a 3D drawing, resembling a column of smoke that one would see on the horizon. We see through the sculpture and its multiple reflections, the architectural environment and the landscape of Lac-Saint-Jean.
PERMANENT WORK
