The Kiss
"The Kiss" is a sculptural ensemble composed of two vertical modules, prisms with a triangular base whose surfaces are made of mirror-polished aluminum. Tree branches cast in bronze seem to emerge from the two parallel surfaces of the modules, as if each contained a tree. The branches link the two modules together and seem to create an infinite network, thanks to the multiple mise en abyme that are due to the mirror surfaces that face each other. The users of the place as well as the immediate environment of the sculpture (vegetation and architecture) are reflected on its surfaces. The work of monumental dimensions seems to blend into its environment.
