Le temps de la nouvelle romance
The time of the new Romance is made up of monumental letters writing "Times New Roman" written in the typography it names. This project was presented at the edge of a road near a wooded area. The letters are in volume to signify that it is a sculpture. They were covered with a fabric with a military camouflage pattern. For this project, I wanted to try to present a non-statement. A written proposition that says nothing. The only power of this sign is to name the typography in which it is written. Here, having no determined function, the writing plays a role of aesthetic relationship with the place without giving it any meaning.
The project was also presented in an urban setting, on the roof of a building at the foot of Cap de Lévy.
