Marcher quand même
This installation consists of a large disco ball (three feet in diameter), which is placed on the ground between two speakers. A motion detector activates the device. Slow-motion popular music invades the sound space. Projectors illuminate the ball, which reflects points of light all over the space. The ball begins to move on its own in a kind of clumsy movement. The slow-motion music accentuates the "handicapped" nature of the ball's movement. This has an impact on the light projection, which also begins to move, like a luminous back-and-forth similar to waves.
