Slogans and landscapes
This series of drawings offers compositions in ink on paper, in the tradition of landscape, in a way that is both very graphic and very realistic. However, integrated into the image in a more or less hidden way depending on the drawing, each drawing is marked with a well-known slogan from a large company. This is in its original form so that we can easily identify it. A back-and-forth game between the statement and the image presents itself to us. This game acts by coloring the landscape with a meaning that removes any objective point of view. In the same way, the drawing gives a character to the slogan. I amused myself by imagining that the landscapes were commissioned by corporations.
