VOXEL CHROME

This is a series of watercolors made by accumulating a hexagonal pattern. The accumulation of this constructs a grid composed of small cubes. The vaporous or shapeless character of the objects represented contrasts with the rigidity of the grid. A visual phenomenon occurs due to the low resolution of the images; the further back we are, the better we see the image. Conversely, the closer we are, the more abstract they appear to us.
